Corneal Tattoo

In cases when the eye is damaged, and cornea may turn white (opacifoed), giving a poor cosmetic appearance. In such cases, either a prosthetic contact lens is used, or a surgical procedure called keratopigmentation or corneal tattoo is performed to hide the opacified cornea and give a near normal appearance to the eye.
